Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

This afternoon/evening there are approximately 20 women who, in groups, make 7 of the most traditional types of Christmas biscuites/cakes on a course arranged by the "Gladmat" school.
They were busy and happy,- as these two ladies show!
That's the nice thing about baking...you just have to test everything several times to make sure it's made right!
ReplyDeleteHappiness is a handful of dough, preferably with chocolate chips in it!
I wish I could have been there to be the chief "quality control/official taster"! Tusen takk igjen for daglig dose av norsk!
ReplyDeleteThey seem to be sampling as many as they are making. This is a lovely time of the year for coming together as a community and for making new friends.
ReplyDeleteI was baking cookies today as well - this is a great shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by http://santacruzdailyphoto.blogspot.com!
Sampling is key. Aren't there any male bakers?
ReplyDeleteFunny picture, I'd like to help with sampling...
ReplyDeleteKeep tasting till it's just right...
ReplyDeleteI love their expressions, wonderful shot, looks like they are having a great time!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of the two women. They looked very happy and probably had a lot of fun that night hanging out with friends.
ReplyDeleteBy the looks on their faces, those cookies must taste good!
ReplyDeleteHow great. The one of the left with that amazing smile and the one on the right, licking her fingers. Makes me hungry just looking.
