Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway. It is situated on the southwest coast.
My aim is to try to capture something from every day, from the area nearby too, and when I am not at home I will still try to put up a photo from my archive.
Welcome back for another look.

Another wooden house,- and it can't be more than a few years old. This kind of style is more common these days. Do you like it?
Outside the building looks pretty boring, but inside I'm sure the rooms are large and get a lot of light; if they open the curtains. Given an opportunity to buy something else, I would definitely choose a different style.
I think it would take some getting used to and it would help if they kept up the property. I also think it probably looks much better on the inside.
ReplyDeleteHere we don't like wood or frame houses because hurricanes tend to turn them into toothpicks!
Afraid I don't like it - characterless, although its probably nice inside and easy to live in.

ReplyDeleteFascinating design! I think the wooden outside would demand a lot of maintenance; I want to see inside . . .
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like a wooden house, but a normal house covered in wood, which would be even sillier.
ReplyDeleteAgree with comments like 'characterless', but I suspect it is nice and light inside, however, someone needs to do some work outside.
ReplyDeleteI would have to vote, no.
ReplyDeleteEr, no...it looks like a block of flats. I rarely like buildings with flat roofs. But it is probably quite convenient to live in a modern building.
ReplyDeleteI love this house!!!
