This is Norwegian “Skoleboller”, or in English “ School Buns” filled with custard and topped with coconut and a confectioner’s sugar glaze.
It is a type of pastry you can get at any bakery, and many grocery stores as well as some ferry kiosks and cafés. Kids make them at school and parents who take the time, make them at home.
They are very popular, especially for school kids......
I'll take two! They look so very yummy! :-)
ReplyDeleteThey look delicious!
ReplyDeleteWow, even though I'm too old for school, I'll have 2, please!
ReplyDeleteAnd a cup of coffee please.
ReplyDeleteWell, why wouldn't they be wildly popular? My mouth literally started watering just looking at these photos!
ReplyDeleteJust what I need to put some more fat on. LOL

Great, they look so attractive to the senses. Greetings from Mexico.
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for this time of the day! Many coconut groves up there?
ReplyDeleteHope they taste as good as they look.
